The cinematographic countenance

Abstract
This article makes an emphasis on the signifying construction of a cinematographic countenance, focusing on how gestures organize, subjected to an affection problem. Working visual constructions separated from narrative contexts, we propose a reading that brings out the way in which a privileged problem is constructed in the cinematographic fi eld. The reading will also serve to rethink some categories that have organized cinematographic productions.
