Abstract
This paper considers the subject of artistic creation. It presents a historical, philosophical and theological reflection on the figure of God the Creator as artist, focusing on biblical passages, and other texts relevant to the case study. It also deals with the question of how the divine model of artistic creation also associated to power is transferred to the sphere of the inherently human.
