Crítica, identidad y representación en América Latina. Un breve esbozo

Abstract
Since the la tter seventies, Art Criticism has developed numerous mutations that led to discredit the political strategies and actions of the Utopian Avant-garde. Nowadays Latin American art criticism seems to be moving towards the same direction. Certainly, most of its epistemologi-cal updates have had among its results the discredit of History and in the mean time, the Latin American Art discredit as concept itself. Subjects such as the notion of method and the problematic of representation related to dependency theory are presented here using a diagnosis strategy.
