Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the critical discourse about the female self-representation and praxis in the essays of the Mexican writer, Rosario Castellanos, which are addressed to Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and to Santa Teresa de Avila. Through this work, the paradigma of analytical approach for the female autobiography will be set up.
