Abstract
Cartoons are a key feature in childrens TV programming. These Productions convey messages wich are structured in the typical TV code and are related to traditional literature (myths, fairy stories, fables) and to science fiction. Both TV and literary codes interact effectively to create messages that will impact the minds of children, whether positively or negatively. The article offers a synthesis and commentary of a number of investigations on the subject.
