Alfonso X, el Sabio, y la Cantiga XCIV
Main Article Content
Abstract
The text deals with a legend which already has eight centuries of history: that of the nun who abandons the convent and is substituted by the Holy Virgin Mary. This account takes us to the first written versión of the tale, that of Cesareo de Heisterbach (12th Century) and the form assumed by the Chant 94 written by the Wise King.
