Between ground and heaven. Notes for a cartography regarding contemporary and sacred architecture and art
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this essay is to shed light on the course followed by sacred art and architecture during the 20th century —its genesis, context and history— understanding these aspects as the necessary framework to discern its present state of affairs and its future development. The research undertaken responds to the professional interests of the author, practicing architect and designer of several religious buildings, which in turn have been the core of his PhD Dissertation, which won the Premio Extraordinario 2000 awarded by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
