Deterioration of Canada's forests due to air pollution

This paper discusses the role of air pollution in the dieback of forests in the northem hemisphere. Its emphasis is on the situation in Canada and the Canadian Chemistry of High Elevation Fog project. Topies to be discussed are the extent of the dieback and its consequencesand possible causesas well as the field measurements that arebeingmade at the present time.
