The isopleth method applied to the population density in Chile
Keywords:
Population density, Chile, representation methods, isoplethsAbstract
One of the methods to represent the population density is the isopleth. lts major advantage is that the spatial population distribution can be shown in a simplified picture. This system applied to Chile, gives a particular structure to each of the 13 regions o[ the country; it is associated to the density o[ their respectives "comunas". From the map analysis, it is possible to distinguish particular density patterns.
