The years that pass from 1920 to 1940 represent an essential period to understand the territorial space known as "Chaco" -in the north of Argentina-, particuarly for their socioeconomic evolution. During that time its productive profile was formed characterize this jurisdiction by several decades, consolidating itself like the main cotton region of the country, and receiving internal and externa immigrants. This process, known as the cotton cycle in distinction to the previous model denominated forest cycle, was characterized by the incorporation of human contingent destined to the colonization and manual tasks that the crops demanded and harvests of the textile. Social problems derived from this affluence; the conflicts of coexistence in the rural scopes; and the answers of the State and the society, are the field of study of this article
